Salary: $110,000 - 135,000 per year Requirements:
- We require demonstrated experience supporting large, complex federal agencies; prior VA or DoW experience is highly desirable.
- We require advanced expertise in SQL (query optimization, ETL), R (statistical modeling and predictive analytics), Python (data wrangling and automation), and Tableau and Power BI (dashboard development and performance tuning).
- We require proven experience with data governance platforms such as Microsoft Purview and Collibra, as well as enterprise systems like ServiceNow and Power Apps.
- We require the ability to brief executive-level stakeholders and translate complex information into practical insights.
- We require a strong background in data quality management and advanced analytics to support organizational decision-making.
- We require in-depth knowledge of VHA systems and files, including CDW, VistA, VSSC, RAMP, PTF/MedSAS, MCA, PCMM, NPCD, and VETSNET File.
- We require the ability to lead workstreams, mentor junior analysts, and collaborate across functions.
- We require advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with automation and analytics integration.
- We require Public Trust clearance eligibility and U.S. work authorization.
- We require a bachelors degree in data science, Computer Science, Health Informatics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- We require 8+ years in analytics, data engineering, and visualization tools such as Azure and Databricks.
- We require 8+ years of professional experience in data analytics or health informatics.
- We require 5+ years working with healthcare data standards and interoperability, including HL7, FHIR, SNOMED, and LOINC.
Responsibilities: - We obtain data through advanced computational models, identify patterns with sophisticated algorithms, build graphs and charts showing trends, and apply NLP and machine learning to strengthen our Data Analytics and Insights workstream.
- We monitor and validate RMA, ServiceNow, and Power Apps data pipelines, investigate anomalies, perform root-cause analysis using SQL, R, and Python, and coordinate fixes with CPMO/OCI owners.
- We define and operationalize enterprise data-quality rules, thresholds, and KPI scorecards, automate QC checks with Power Automate, SQL, and Python, and publish findings in Purview and related governance tools.
- We lead Tier 0 to Tier 1 data stewardship and maintain end-to-end lineage and metadata in Purview and Collibra to support accessibility, traceability, and VA/VHA compliance.
- We certify Tableau and Power BI dashboards and reports against integrity and accessibility standards and work with analytics teams on remediation.
- We embed data-quality controls and validation checkpoints into SAFe PI planning, sprint planning, and demos to help ensure production-ready data.
- We design and deliver visualizations, analyses, and models.
- We serve as the primary authority for data analysis and reporting across Agile integration, interoperability, and clinical informatics initiatives.
- We design and maintain data pipelines, perform advanced analytics, and protect data integrity for clinical and operational decision-making.
- We support integration of multiple health IT systems, validate migration fidelity, and provide actionable insights to program leadership.
